Silicon Nitride Bonded Silicon Carbide (NSiC) Roller
Product Overview
Our NSiC roller rods are high-performance ceramic rollers engineered for heavy-load conveying in high-temperature kilns and furnaces. Bonded with a silicon nitride (Si₃N₄) matrix, they offer superior mechanical strength, thermal shock resistance, and oxidation resistance, making them ideal for demanding continuous firing applications.
Key Properties
-
Max Service Temperature: Up to 1,450°C (1,500°C intermittent)
-
Excellent Thermal Shock Resistance: Withstands rapid temperature cycling without cracking
-
High Load-Bearing Capacity: Superior flexural strength at elevated temperatures
-
Outstanding Oxidation Resistance: Nitride bond provides long-term stability in oxidizing atmospheres
-
Good Wear Resistance: Extended service life in abrasive environments
-
Low Creep & Deformation: Maintains straightness and alignment over time
-
Low Thermal Expansion: Minimizes stress during thermal cycling
